Requests
To request a translation, send me the document to be translated, preferably in electronic form (word, text, excel, power point). You can also fax me the document if it is also legible. Send the document to request@lonewolftrans.com. Make sure to include the following information in the email or fax:
| * | contact information (your name, address, and phone number) |
| * | due date and time (please include time zone) |
| * | method of payment (see below) |
| * | whether you would like me to pass on the request to other translators if I decline the project (see note below). |
If I accept the project, I will e-mail you a purchase order, which will include the price of the translation, within 12 hours. Print out the purshase order, sign it, then fax it to me. After receiving the signed purchase order, I will begin the project.
Cost
While the actual cost depends on the material, deadline, and how busy I am, the cost, in general, will be around 8 yen ($.07) per kanji (Chinese character).
Payments
Payments can be made three ways:
| * | bank transfer (recommended method for customers in Japan) |
| * | through paypal, which includes credit cards (payment must be made in dollars and is limited to projects less than $500.00) |
| * | personal check (payable to Tim Silver) |
note
If I am unable to do the project, I would be happy to pass the request on to other translators who are members of the Japan Association of Translators. If another translator is interested in the project, he will contact you directly. I make no guarantees about the quality of translations from other translators.
